I am in the Giveaway Kind of mood today. Don't know why...don't really care. But, I am, so lucky you! I am going to give away some of my favorite things lately! First of all, a thermal lunch tote from thirty-one. (Ahem...all of these items are brand new by the way and not used...just in case you were wondering!) Anyways, attached the the tote is a hair clip I made...but it looks super cute on the tote so if I were you, I would leave it on the tote! Some chap stick, of course that tastes like Peeps, some new Extra Sherbet flavored gum....which I am chewing on right now...sugarfree and super yummy, 2 hand sanitizers from bath and body works...we go through one bottle in a sitting....go away yucky icky flu germs, a scentsy Watermelon Patch scent pack....YUMMY smelling and reminds me of warmer weather, and a new Fit and Active Strawberry Lemonade drink from Aldi. Yup, Aldi. Again...super yummy and reminds me of warmer days! That's it....nothing too fancy....nothing to glamorous, but don't complain...it's free...if you win!
On a quick side note.....just a question....you need to answer this as your entry to the giveaway. If you own a home or have to shovel a sidewalk at all....what do you do? Our brand new neighbors moved in and he made sure to only snow blow up to "his" sidewalk property line. Not an inch further. Do you or would you just snow blow the rest of the 15 feet or so to the next driveway? Do you go only up to your "sidewalk" line?" Or do you not even snow blow or shovel at all :) I know what we would do, but I was just curious to see what other people would do. ReplyDeleteWe would definitely do the extra shoveling or snowblowing. When we lived in Chicago we always helped the neighbors because we knew that they would help us in return.

Hi Super Mom! As a "single mom" half the time... I was up at 5:30 this morning so I could get our driveway and sidewalks cleared, got the kids up, fed, got myself showered and ready for work, packed the car, got everyone out the door and to school on time, and then... ahhhh - a nice quiet ride out to Fort Atkinson to work. I know I'm preaching to the choir (times 7)... just had to get that off my chest, as my husband is (no lie, I can't make this up) out in the Caribbean for work today!!!! Yeesh. To answer your question: Even in my haste, I WOULD have gladly cleared my neighbor's sidewalk this morning, had he not already done it last night. That's what good neighbors (heck, good HUMANS) do!! ESPECIALLY with a snowblower! (We finally broke down and bought one last year). In fact, I find snowblowing fun (could be the flashbacks of shoveling snow at eye-level all those years)! It's one of those OCD activities I enjoy - like mowing beautiful, straight rows in the grass. (Ha!)

I don't do anything to snow. It is 65 and sunny right now. If you moved here, you wouldn't have to worry about your neighbors snow removal.
